My girlfriend from the past was over
to see me and I enjoyed every minute
I got to spend together with her !
She opened up my eyes to many things
I had not paid enough attention to like
f.i. the need to get in a really good shape
to be able to get rid of unnecessary diseases
as f.i. diabetes type 2 (if possible) !
Most of you already know
the story from my earlier songs, this is
probably the final one in that trilogy !

What a very original song! And a very nice "collaboration" of the high and low voice. The pedal steel guitar is also very functional in this song.
And yes, ex-girlfriend's are always a nice topic for a song

I think you are completely right in your
assessment as she really opened my mind
to see the world anew ! I have been exercising
since she left and have dropped 4 kilos so
far (I promised myself I will drop at least 10
so I am heading towards the target fast) !!!:))
I know how to do it as I have done it before
when I stopped smoking but that was some 25 years
ago and it ain´t quite that easy now (but
I am determined to get rid of my diabetes )!!!!

PS

She will come and see me in the fall
and hopefully she´ll find a guy here
who has by then lost 10 kg:s ( I guess
that would be 20-30 lbs) ? Since I started (from 98 kg:s)
I have diminished with almost 6 kg:s already !:))
to 92 kg:s (13 lbs) ! And, have never
felt greater !!!!!:))

Dani I also think that this is your best to date.

I got here late and everything that I was thinking was already written! So all I can say is outstanding vocals, backing tracks and mix.

on the type 2 thing... yeah man, it's totally reversible if you stop eating the wrong things and start eating the right foods. So many of the degenerative diseases are self inflicted by our diets.

Educate yourself and make a lifestyle change.
