Hi all.
Wrote this one middle of last year.
A typical love song.

Written with BB RT mixed with reaper.
Vocals my self.
https://soundcloud.com/ironbarkbob/eternity-1

Eternity.

Will you love me? Like I love you.
Will you be here and see it through.

Love is precocious and hard to find.
Much more precocious than gold you mine.

Chorus

I want you here with me for all eternity I do.
Oh! yes I do.

Wont you hold me tight in you arms?
Will you keep me safe from harm?

This is true love of which I'm sure.
Oh! my darling I do adore.

Chorus

I want you here with me for all eternity I do.
Oh! yes I do.

Fill

I want you here with me for all eternity I do.
Oh! yes I do.

I know you told me you made a vow.
And to no one you'll ever tell.

And I cherish the life we've made.
I'll be faithful to the grave.

Chorus

I want you here with me for all eternity I do.
Oh! yes I do.

I want you here with me for all eternity I do.
Oh! yes I do.

I want you here with me for all eternity I do.
Oh! yes I do.

For me, this is straight up, good country music like I grew up with. My parents and oldest brother were intimately involved in the country scene from the post war 1940's through the 1960's. My brother continued on until the late 1990's. He was a session steel guitar player and also traveled with Loretta Lynn, Cal Smith, Jimmy C. Newman and Stonewall Jackson among others. Someone has posted some nice videos from the early 1980's of Jimmy Newman Grand Ole Oprey appearances and there is a nice one of him doing "Steel Guitar Rag". I still own the Peavy 'Bandit' he is playing through.

I have memories from my early childhood of Oprey stars the likes of Hawkshaw Hawkins, Jimmy Dickens, Wilma Lee and her husband Stoney Cooper, Billy Grammer, Charlie Louvin, Clyde Moody and so many others visiting at our home when they would pass through our hometown during touring.

All that to say that you do a marvelous job of authentically capturing that time period in style and feel and I really enjoy your music and writing.

Bob, really like the banjo in this one, and the Mandolin fill works really nice.
Vocals and backing harmonies work well, pretty good melody and the feel throughout is spot on.
Nice one!

Charlie pretty much said it all.
I'm a decade plus older than
Janice and I came up with music
but she heard it from her Daddy
and learned to love it. You
captured it for sure and we
enjoyed the spin.
