Hi! smile

This is my latest experimental song:

https://soundcloud.com/david-laprise/pixelated-photographers

I mix and match more or less randomly Syles/RealTracks and virtual instruments. I never know what to expect when I start. smile

All the parts, chords and melody were generated by BiaB 2014 Mac and mixed in Ableton Live! I mix with WAVES compressors and Slate Digital "sweetening" Plugins. The master goes through Harbal and the final step is Platinum Notes.

Tempo: 80
Key: A#

Drums: OLDMOTOWN.STY playing Korg M3 (Down Low Rap Kit)

Bass: SELEKTAH.STY playing Spectrasonic Trilian Upright Bass

Piano: Piano, Rhythm PopModernGrooveA-B Ev16 075 (MIDI SuperTrack) playing NI Kontakt Scarbee Clavinet

Guitar: 63:Guitar, Acoustic, Rhythm SouthernRock Ev 085

Strings: ~RAMSEY_.STY playing NI Kontakt Vintage Organs

Melody: Melodist 34 playing Ableton Orchestral Woodwinds Concert Flute

Thanks for Listening! smile

Hi David,

Welcome to the forum smile (At least, I don't remember seeing you around before.)

That was very different from what I've come to anticipate on Users Showcase. I don't know if I'm right or wrong but I get the impression that you are a bit of an experimentalist when it comes to making music. That's always a good thing.

The flute really impressed me. This was quality midi all the way. The Bass, too, was a terrific sound. Everything sounded very nicely mixed to my ears.

All the best with your next creation!
Noel

Hello David,

It sounds like Kraftwerk (the german great)band in the early seventies, essentially intrumental, with electro accoustic intruments, The result is positively curious

Hi and welcome to the forum. This is a nice piece and quite enjoyable to listen too. It was more cohesive between the various instruments and styles than I thought just reading the post prior to listening.

Good job and I look forward to hearing something from you again soon.

David,

The title caught my eye and what an excellent combination of styles, that must have taken a long, long time, and what a beautiful result.

I look forward to more

Alyn
