You are on an island, sitting on the beach listening to the waves break shore while the birds sing.

This is JonD and my latest.

BiaB style = Rock Rhumba - 60's Brit. We deleted all but the drums. I modified the Band-in-a-Box drums and added the percussion.

JonD is playing the vibe lead using his keyboard controller. I am playing the fretless bass and the nylon string rhythm guitar.

We hope that you like it.

Aaaah..... some beach, some where. Nice vibe for the song.

Enjoyed my listen. Good for a listen to "Paradise Beach" here today --- it's 75 degrees and sunny.

Well, serve me up a Mai Tai!! This is a sweet, atmospheric, transcendental piece of music. Love the vibe, excellent playing, and the birds were icing on the cake. Enjoyed it immensely!! Take care. Greg

The song sounded exactly like the description.
The melody is nice and simple, easy to remember.
All in all up to your normal standards.

Hope you both have a good Christmas break

Hi Mario and Jon,

Very atmospheric indeed. A very nice and relaxing excursion into imagery of topical islands, sun, sand and palm trees. The music worked for me smile

Regards to you both,
Noel

Another nice one Mario. Love the fretless. We're heading to the beach ourselves on Tuesday for some surf fishing. Should be in the low-80's. grin

Merry Christmas!

Bob

Hi Mario,

You really took us to the beach with this one. We picture ourselves having a drink on a deck chair on an island that hasn't been discovered yet smile
Good job.

Great job Mario and JonD.

Yes, you really captured the scene. The sound effects give the song great dimension. The ride rings through perfectly. Not too much of it, the sparseness lends to the appeal.

Good one

Hi Mario and Jon, this song reminded me immediately
of an old Martin Denny song "Quiet Village".
You guys did a great job of creating an
image in my mind of that Paradise Beach
far away from here. I can't go, but your
song put me there for about three minutes
at least. Thanks for sharing.

Thanx all for listening and the very nice comments.

David is it really freezing in NC? I ask because we are about 20-35°F over our average and we are setting new high temperatures at 60°F. T-shirts in December, I'm loving it. We are also setting records for the least amount of snowfall. We are currently at 1.2" while are norm is around 12".

Sonny I had forgotten about Martin Denny and his material so I went to youtube and gave a listen. Thanx for reminding me of him.

Thanx to everyone else and we are very glad that you liked this song.

Mario & JOn ...

I like it when the music equals or exceeds the narrative for it. And this perfectly matched your descriptive narrative. Laid back and as warm as an English Muffin on a cold winter day. Took me to the islands. Cool ,,,er, should I say warm! Enjoyed it a bunch! Best to you both and Merry Christmas ...

Hi Mario.

Wonderful.

I closed my eyes and was transported from a cold, wet England in December, to a magical place in the sun.

Many thanks.
