This song is called "Killer", it was written in 1979 for a girl named Tina Sorrento, who never knew about it. It was always an ambitious production on the order of BeeGees/Queen, so I didn't even try to record it till now. Most instruments are BB, overdubs include vocorder, percussion, synth, lead guitars and one rhythm guitar. There are actually two drum tracks used throughout (like the Allman Brothers), they are panned left/center and right/center. This was a real challenge for my ability to build backing vocals, I'm pleased with the result.

Great capture of the groove from that era. The cool production
showcases the vocals and the great use of RT's and the dubs.
I never cease to be amazed at the power of BiaB when artistically
used.

I suspect this production took a lot of both time and thought.

We enjoyed it.

Thanks for the kind words. I especially like the BB guitar 1435, Rhythm JazzFunkGroovinChords. It brings the disco feel, and I couldn't have played it myself. After listening to the mix in the car, I redid it with less bottom on the bass guitar.

You are right, this song took a long time. I've been spending more time on each arrangement lately, and find the involvement rewarding. I never had much confidence in my voice or musicianship, and am pleased to hear the result when I work harder at it.

I like a lot this song. Maybe is for I was young in these years and this is the
sound I like best and that has remained in my mind.

I don't like a lot music after '90s. Is better listen to the music on the forum.
