Welcome Mario, this is really pretty music!! Great production, and the vocal is beautiful. Very meditative quality to this. I'm going to have to check out those styles. Great stuff!! Take care. Greg

Mario,

Very enjoyable!
Nice melodic and rhythmic layers which take the listener into another world - I floated away.
The improvised female voices are great - are they live recordings?

Like Greg said "a very meditative quality..."

We enjoyed it and would love to know more about how it was arranged.

Hi Janice and Bud, thanks for your complimentary comments. How did I arrange?

First input code to BB pattern such as A is slow or soft and B is a little hard or excite pattern, I love "NEWPORT" Jazz style very much. And make MIDI data and transfer to Cubase 7 and add voices or other sound. So mainly I am using BB basic bass, drum, string, guitar and piano patterns.

Hello, Mario (こんにちは、タカハシさん)

Welcome to the showcase.
This is a very fine quality ambience music.
Very exotic.
The use of female voices and vocals are great.
I also would like to make a song of such style some day.
Very enjoyable listen.

Best Regards. (これからもどうぞよろしく)

Shigeki Adachi (足立成樹)

P.S.
I also use Cubase.

Very eclectic mix, and you've certainly used a diverse approach with the song.
Enjoyable.

Hi Mario,

Wow - I think this song sounds great! I love the subtle vocal near the beginning, and how the entire thing builds!

This it the "Hot Forum Topic" for today smile

Hi Callie, thanks for listening and complimentary comments. As your asking of the subtle vocal near the beginning, that is "Shevannai" vocal software as below: http://www.bestservice.de/en/shevannai.html

First I composed songs with BIAB and make MIDI data and transfer to Cubase 7 and mixed such as voice or other instruments.

I like this voice very much and composed a lot of songs with BIAB but detail data's are not sure so I am looking for and if I could find which BIAB style pattern, I will upload more and more.

Hi Mario,

Really enjoyed this. Has a lovely dreamy and relaxing feel to it.
Also as unusual combination of sounds that all seem to work so well together.

I am also going to check out those styles.

Good job.

Hello, Mario

作品への評価、ありがとうございます。以下、他のメンバー方にも分かるよう英語で書きます。

I also already retired from the company, now I enjoy composing music everyday.
I envy you for travelling the Silk Road to visit many Arab countries when you were young.
Though I have been to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, France and Italy, all were the business trips.

Band in a Box has been a very important application for me, too.
I have been using it for about 20 years.
I like composing, but it is impossible for me without it.
I enrolled in the department of economics of a university, but also I wanted to study music, so I had been through the composer class of Yamaha Music School at night.

PG Music recommends getting a SoundCloud account, because our showcase songs are introduced as PG Radio on SoundCloud.
So, the best link of our songs is SoundCloud.
Though it will take a little bit money, it may be a good choice to change your SoundCloud account to pro-account.

I am looking forward to your next song.

Best Regards.

Hi receder, thanks for your comments. When I was young I traveled middle east Asia and India and I am fascinated by these area music due to in Japan at school we never listen, only western classic such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and so on.

So my song is mixed West, East, India and Middle East. BIAB arrange soft is so good for me due to it is very hard to compose songs. Anyway I will try more interesting arrange style of BIAB.

Hi Shigeki-san

OK, also I will write in English due to almost member does not understand Japanese.

>I have been using it for about 20 years.

Wow, 20 years,, long time. I guess I am around 5 years due to I registered on Aug. 16, 2011 but long time I did not upload songs.

>I like composing, but it is impossible for me without it.

Me too, also I am using Japanese SingSongWriter software but arrange pattern is not many compare with Band in a Box.

> composer class of Yamaha Music School at night.

About 30 years ago, just Yamaha 8 bits MSX computer was developed and I bought it and leaned a little bit about MIDI computer music. I input data of Rydeen YMO but later bubble economy occured so I was so busy and no time for composing music. After bubble business, I started to compose again and bought SingSongWriter software and later Cubase 5, now I am using Cubase 7 but very hard to operate for me so no more version up.

>So, the best link of our songs is SoundCloud.

OK, I will think about it.

Thanks for nice advice and information.

Best Regards
Mario Takahashi
