What a cool song!! Somewhat of a departure in arrangement from your recent stuff. The "Band" was perfect. This has such a pleasant rhythm in the music and the lyrics and the way they play off each other. My new fave of yours!! Great stuff!! P.S. If you don't know Adios by Jimmy Webb (Linda Ronstadt covered), check it out. Love this verse
I watched a little TV
It’s gonna snow and be grey
Found your boots in the closet today
I think I’ll sweep the fireplace
Years of pine and oak
And fill my head with some new woodsmoke
For now
Goodbye, hey baby, adios
Awesome! Take care. Greg
Bob,
I liked the original version alot - its a really good song and so interesting to hear it reinterpreted with a much lighter more upbeat feel.
I enjoyed the instrumentation on this version -that piano just glistens!

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Nice! Good job!
Sound is clear. I like so much
Hi Bob,
Beautifully done, the high strung fingerpicking real track always works great, one of the most genuine we think.
The acoustic piano soloist was also a great choice.
Very cool song!
Rob & Anne-Marie
I love the way you put words together, Bob.
This sounds great. (cool piano!)

Greg,
Much appreciated - thanks. That Jimmy Webb song is one of my favorites - the Ronstadt version is a real heartbreaker...

Greg quoted this but, man, it is really standout so here it is again
"Nectar has some nice sounds." Cool that you mentioned that. I've found that some of
the Nectar modules have usage well beyond just vocals.
Your vocal, the write and the new arrangement are very engaging. Simply a great song!
