Bob, I really like the way the repetitive lines draw you in and then the way the third line in every verse delivers the mail. Again, very poetic and the simple arrangement and melody are perfect for this. The accordion was a inspired choice. This may be one of my favorites from you. Excellent. Tom
LOVE THIS:
Chorus:
She's broken the rules and left her outpost
She follows me around from coast to coast
I can't see her face but I feel her approach
Like a radio ghost
Like a radio ghost
Yeah!!
Another Bob Dean Classic!! Loved the lyrics, vibe and vocal delivery as always.
You have a very unique sound as an artist and I always look forward to your songs.
Another great one.
Happy 2017!!

Yeah it's already been guoted but it's too good to not quote again. So there.
Wonderful write, vocal and production. You cross genres but carry your cool signature sound with you. Nice.
We much enjoyed this one!
J&B
Oh man, what a song! This is a great write and performance.
Love it!
Kenny
Tom,
I appreciate that - thanks.
Bob
Bob,
This is one of your best! The lyrics are mysterious and hooked me in right away; the production (especially the accordion in the background and phased? guitar at the end) just about perfect.
Great way to start the year!
Robert
Hi Bob,
We really enjoyed this! Like, seriously enjoyment!!! The concept of the lyric is original and the production is crisp and clean. Great mix, delivery, production & concept ... really cool!
Happy New Year!
Alan & Di
David,
Much appreciated. I also really enjoyed your new one; "Original Sin".
Bob
Very cool lyric Bob. Excellent vocal
Oh man, what a song! This is a great write and performance.
Love it!
Kenny
Bob, I agree with Kenny. Exactly what I though - What a song! A terrific listen. I was reading along with the lyrics and kept having to look back to see what RT you were using. The mandolin was a great start. The solo electric worked really well. The accordion was a great add. The guitar ending was excellent (I think you added a delay to it?).
Excellent vocal.
Simply - enjoyable...

Bob
That was excellent - all the elements of the song came together beautifully.
Top stuff.
Peter
Janice & Bud,
Thanks for that - made my day.
Bob
Kenny,
Thank you for the kind words - means a lot.
Bob
Robert,
Thanks so much - that's very kind of you. The guitar track at the end of the song was layered and out of sync with itself - then I added a delay effect - I wanted it to have a swirling / breathing feel.
Bob
Alan & Di,
Thanks very much!
Bob
Really enjoyed this one, Bob. Keep 'em coming.
Bob
Floyd,
Thanks very much. Yes, the guitar was layered with a phasing-like effect added.
Bob
Peter,
Much appreciated - thanks.
Bob
Hi, Bob !:))
This must be one of your
best ! I liked both tune
performance and those super
strong lyrics that are your
trademark !
Cheers

I'll piggyback on here....What a song!! Very nice in every way. I love the way that solo guitar fit-sounded custom. Great stuff!! Take care. Greg
What's not to love about this song?!?!?!? (nothing...)
These lyrics triggered an old road trip memory - I love it when a song triggers a memory:
I'm driving on a highway rumble strip
I'm driving on a highway rumble strip
An empty sky ahead as I’m wrapping up this trip
And I'm driving on a highway rumble strip
This is today's Hot Forum Topic - thanks for posting it!
Callie
Callie,
Thanks very much!
Bob
Dani,
Thanks - much appreciated.
Bob
Greg,
Much appreciated - thanks!

"Tuning out the channels one by one." Love that line Bob. Great work
Joanne,
Much appreciated - thanks.
Bob
Nice arrangement - understated, but very effective.
I love the lyrics - you've got a poetic sensibility, and instead of cliches choose words that fit. It's a pleasure listening.
Robert,
An excellent write. Captivating lyrics and tune.
The vocal fade at the end was most effective - and I would agree that the accordion was well placed and very appropriate for this song.
Well done!
Enjoyed this Bob!
Unusual enough to be interesting.
Liked this bit - I'm dialing up the sun
And I'm tuning out the channels one by one.
Many other wonderful phrases and concepts. Cheers.
David,
I appreciate that - thanks very much.
Bob
Curt,
That's very kind of you - thanks.
Bob
Rich,
Thanks - much appreciated.
Bob

Sergio
I really like this one. Will be back to take a few more listens.. Good song.
Charlie
Superb song. I like the (is it a reverse echo) effect you have.
Nice lyrics and well produced.
Cheers.
Mike.
Sergio,
Thanks very much!
Bob
Charlie,
Thanks - much appreciated.
Bob
A very inspiring ghost Bob ! Your song can work on our car radio like the magic voice you describe. All is perfectlyl put together.
Me, I heard Neil Young in it .
Cheers
Pascal
I'm late as always and everything I wanted to say has been said so all that I can add is that this is one fantastic song. I really liked your vocals and lyrics in this one. This is the best that you have done to date.
This is a keeper.
Mike,
Thanks very much. That echo effect on the electric guitar RT was mostly achieved by layering duplicate guitar tracks out of sync, and using an amp simulator effect in GarageBand.
Bob
Pascal,
Thanks - appreciate you listening and commenting.
Bob
Mario,
That's very kind of you - thanks!
