Twist On A Star

Using BIAB Realdrums from the Hang Ten set.
EWQL VST Instruments and a little guitar playing from me.

A foot tapping twisting sound of yesteryear.

Happy twisting.

Cheers.
Mike.

Great bob-along sound. 60's revisited for sure.

This one had me boppin in my chair. Well done Mike. Closed my eyes and saw the kids dancing in black and white on the local tv station

Man, this grabs that period sound and hangs on.

The clean club organ was spot on to the sound many bands had back in the day.

Is the organ/keys a real track or is that you playing it?

I was hoping to hear more of that psychedelic guitar dripping with verb. Personally, I would have had the guitar and organ swapping verses and licks. Yeah... one small section of guitar is never enough.

cool tune and well done

Hi Herb - keep 'em wanting more is my motto lol.

Glad you enjoyed that, it was a fun tune but hangs completely around the realdrum. What a beat that is !

The keys are part of the EWQL Goliath set (vox combo organ). I did play but there was a lot of correcting in the midi editor afterwards wink

Cheers.
Mike.

Hi Floyd, David, Trevor and Scott - Many thanks indeed for your nice words.

I know what you mean about the revisit to the old days, it reminds me of Joe 90 and all those other 60s sounds which are deliberately a bit cheesey by today's standards but will outlive a lot of transient music I suspect.

Cheers.
Mike.

Mike

Really clever instrumental - as noted nails the 60's sound.
