So my Mom asked me to record an album for her last year called "Soothing Classical Guitar" because she said there were a lot of people like her who need some soothing music to calm them down--not make them more nervous.
I did the whole thing in one day in Real Band and to my surprise people have been downloading (as in purchasing) the whole album and streaming it like crazy. So I decided to do a few more in this vein, with one being "Peaceful Acoustic Guitar.
This is Water is Wide. Two guitars. Left channel is real track 365. Right channel is my trusty old Taylor.
https://soundcloud.com/davidsnyderchannel/water-is-wideShould have the whole album ready by the end of the day.
Moral of the story: Listen to Mom.
David, this is a beautiful piece of music with top-notch musicianship. Great work!! Torrey

A very beautiful rendition - your guitar playing is outstanding...
Bob
David,
What a wonderful piece! Played with passion and a soft emotion. Very nice blend of your Taylor with the Real Track. That was such a nice listen. I composed a lot of acoustic stuff while I was doping my Chemo. It's all real tracks but kind of soothing ... maybe I'll post some of it.
This is truly beautiful. Di and I are both very pleased to have listened to this. Top shelf all the way! Thanks so much!
Wishing you the very best,
Alan & Di
David,
Very nice. There are some transcendent moments between the guitars in there... so glad your mom`s request is paying off!
Robert
Very nice, David, enjoyed the listen!
You are such a mama's boy...
And a talented one at that. Your range is impressive. And where do you find the time?
A beautiful piece. Likely a whole album of this will sell well...
Nice.

Hi David Snyder, Great idea for this! Your mom must be happy! Great gutiar sounds too. Well done!
Nice, relaxing tune. Good job on the guitar work. Since this one was done a couple of days ago, I expect you probably have another couple of albums out, and this tune is playing on the oldies station by now.
Good job!
Steve
Ha ha ha!!! Good one Steve! Yeah, I put out five new albums since I posted that one man.

Thanks Alan and Di! Your comments are so kind. I am really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the listen.
"Transcendent."
Wow, you know how to make a guitar picker's life!!!
Thank you Robert!!!!
Mama's Boy Floyd?
Man, if I didn't like you so daggoned much I would ask you to step outside.
So, yeah I do believe in being good to your mother, Floyd, and I also believe in BBQ, red clay, and ramblin' and Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School, and potato salad, and red trucks, and pretty girls, and America. I believe in straight up old school acoustic guitar picking, being good to your mama and believing in America Floyd.
Do you???
Thanks Kenny! That means a lot man!
Hey Thanks Joe, that means a lot!!
Beautiful tone from the guitars and a great performance by you.
Enjoyed this relaxing music.

Tom T. Hall made a career out of such beliefs... that's strong company to run with but you do it well. Your versatility is quite remarkable.
