It's fun rehashing songs, written in one's youth, with BIAB.
The song itself was actually posted before but with a completely different style and feel (rock)
Now we've recorded it again from scratch and turned it into a real EMO ballad.
If you can't make much sense of the lyrics, well... neither can we
It is however one of our vocal highlights I think.

I agree that the vocals are outstanding! The pad-like lush harmonies flowing behind Rob's melody really do a good job of creating a dreamscape mood for the song.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up! And since I happen to be barefoot at the moment... a couple of enthusiastic toes up too! ;-)

I enjoyed letting this one wash over me - phrases from the lyrics come through but the meaning comes as much from the the beautiful feeling in the vocals and mood your arrangement creates.

Such a pretty ballad. And what a fantastic vocal, Rob. This is so good. That was a wonderful listen. We loved everything about it. Oh, that pedal steel was a great choice.

In order for me (Alan) to revisit my youth, I have to find a history book. You know you're getting old when things of your younger adult years are being taught in high school history books!

Earlier posters soaked up all the words/phrases that immediately come to mind like:

- lovely
- top quality
- beautiful
- gorgeous
- outstanding
- great vocals
- masterpiece
- etc.

One is hard pressed to add to that. We simply want to add that this is one of the best produced songs we've heard on this forum over the past five years that we've been here.

There is so much texture but the mix never sounds dense. It takes several listens to absorb it all...and then some time to contemplate how the heck you guys do this so well.
