This time of year is bitter sweet for me. Summer is slipping into fall. Nights are getting cooler and the leaves are starting to turn. Very pretty time of year but I will miss the warm weather. This is an easy listening piece. Hope you like it...

HI Scott,

Yeah ... love it! That bit of delay (sounds a lot like the old Echo-Plex - remember those?) is super! Your tone and and light touch are terrific. So danged pretty! I think you caught the mood of the changing seasons perfectly. Kudos ... excellent! I could listen to this all night - might do that!

You did a fantastic job on this, Scott! The guitar work on this is superb, and the tune is extremely calming and beautiful sounding. Easy to close your eyes to and drift away smile

Thanks so much for sharing!

As mentioned that delay works so well for the mood. We're 6 weeks away from the leaves turning and looking forward to cooler weather -- but not the kind of cooler weather you have!

That is an exceptionally beautiful melody.

Excellent work on that Strat!

Thanks Alan for checking out the song. Yes I adjusted the settings to try and get the old analog tape feel to the delay. Glad you liked it..

Hello, Scott

Really beautiful melody with very nice tonal shifts.
It is one of my favorite that the modulation going down by whole note such as Bm7/E7-Amaj-Am7/D7-Gmaj.
The guitar tone is exactly Scott's tone.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Scott,

Drifting away on this. Really well done - you captured the mood and let your Strat. paint the picture.
Very enjoyable!

Scott, the feel of the song is on target! Guitar sounds great! Loved the passages that change to a minor chord! Thanks, Torrey

I have been thinking a lot about the shift in seasons too. Up where we have been the weather has been temperamental at best (orange and ash covered skies, orange moon, red sun ... hot one day, and cold the next!) thanks to the fires south of us, and while we are getting some unusually hot weather for this time of year, the fall transition has started in retail and restaurants that take advantage of the fall flavours and colours. However, I'll know fall is truly here once you can see your breath at night and need to wear two coats to keep warm.

O, Canada.

Now, on the actual topic of your song — easy listening is the perfect way to describe this particular one! It's smooth and enjoyable to listen to, and is definitely something I could have on in the background to keep me focused while working.

Great job!

Thanks Derek for checking out the song. I really like the slow laid back songs. With the volume set right in the music room the sounds from the amps go right through you.

Thanks Rob for checking out the song. My Purdy amp is voiced as a 62 fender deluxe so through the strat I can get some very cool Ventures/ Shadows sounds

What a sweet one!! Although the tone is quite a bit different, your feel and melodic sense reminds me a little of Santana. Such a pretty melodic song!! Take care. Greg
