It's hard not to reply with a phrase that doesn't start with 'Wow!'

Great quality, professionalism, style, masterful songwriting and the list goes on and on.

The feel is just so stylish, the funky style complemented with smooth lyrical delivery expands the horizons throughout this song.

The subtle key change provides another dimension again.

Excellent and Quality are words that easily come to mind from the start to the end.

Beautiful and mellow bass-driven soul, perfect for my taste Excellent vocals and mix, nice lyrics. Really enjoyable wakeup song for a Sunday morning.

You absolutely nailed this, Torrey! It is captivating right from the first few beats, and just continues to impress from thereon out. I'm getting a strong 80's vibe with this one. It reminds me of some stuff by Phil Collins. Great beat, wonderfully catchy, and a strong vocal performance - not a thing I'd change here!

Right out of the gate this song has such a lovely vibe to it. This song reminds me ever so slightly of Savage Garden a little bit, if they sang in a lower register. Great job on this one.

A good Pop-Jazz write. The lyric falls on the ear so well. Beautiful melody.

The overall sound is SO cool. You do this style so well - showing "a different side" of BIAB. Nice added guitar work, too.

Your ability to take BIAB into places that few of us seem to think about is the stuff that envy is made from! This is such an impressive musical creation and realisation. I sat here mesmerised by the music, the arrangement, the production and your talent.

It's a fabulous composition with a terrific set of vocal performances.
No nits to pick except that the vocal processing you've used has emphasised some sibilant sounds and a few breath/wet pops. It could be the compressor &/or reverb.
Your guitar playing is SPOT ON stylistically - it really does bring on the Skunk Baxter era Steely Dan thing.

Some what initially sounded like vocal effect pops were actually the effects used on the electric piano realtrack and my guitar. I have been slowly finding and editing these.
