There's a white elephant in the room....

I think I started this by playing around with a JazzFunk style, and kept some of the pieces; then I added a samba style to the break.

Wow - this tune was an experience! Again, very very unique and unlike what is usually on the showcase. It borders on being abstract, which I personally like. The groove is infectious, and the melodies and chord progressions are simultaneously dizzying and catchy.

Great song, I have to say it puts me in a scene on movie set looking for the Elephant across the swells. Love it the bass seems to give it the vitality and then the piano in the background is so well defined with the horns. Cliff

Certainly different than the typical fare on these forums. I'm with Deryk about the abstract design of the song. Rhythm and percussion are terrific. A pleasant surprise, for sure.

The change at 2:06 casts a whole new aura on the song - very creative!

Thanks VideoTrack..the point of the song is that the "experts" are looking in all their normal hunting grounds for the danger, but they can't see what's right in front of everyone else's noses!

Amazing groove with so many nice creative details combining elephant sounds or elephant-like sounds, African mood and funky stuff. Adding some Latin elements is innovative although it drifts my mind a bit away from Africa

This is really well done. The changes and builds and releases are excellent.

Excellent opening. Ear candy, for sure - the percussion, the guitar, the bass, the elephant - all vying for attention and all "winning"... the piano "stabs" and vibes, too...

The change to samba is very effective. The drop with flute and bass, too.
