one word...EXCELLENT

Really nice! BIAB is so awesome, even when you just let it 'run free' like this!
Did I hear you sneak in a nice diminished chord somewhere? Gave it an unexpected interesting twist.
Thanks for sharing, Alan, and looking forward to your next submission as well.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the nice comments. I wondered if possibly the left channel guitar was a little too much. Thanks for verifying the balance id okay. Much appreciated.

Hi@!

Thanks for the listen and very kind comments. I'm a big fan of using diminished chords, where appropriate, to add a little character to the song. Another chord I use when I can is the minor 11th. I use it primarily where a 1-2m-5 progression would be common. I simply use the m11 to replace the 2m and 5 chords. the minor 11th is so similar to a 5 chord that it's a perfect melding of the two. probably way more than you wanted to know. Thanks again.

Hello, Alan

Very nice and sweet jazz ballad!
You have proved that such a beautiful solo is generated when the chord progression is properly input to BIAB.
This tune is a splendid example.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Hey Guys!

Yeah, the sax worked out pretty good. I've been having pretty good luck with the sax RTs lately. I really like those new styles, too. Thank you very much.

Hi Folks,

Was without Internet for 5 or 6 days, so a little slow getting back to answer comments.

Not sure if I "own" them, but they've turned out pretty good for the most part. (You haven't heard the ones that didn't make the cut!) I never tire of hearing "classy" in reference to any of my music. That's a wonderful comment and I truly appreciate it. many thanks for the listen and terrific words!

Noel,

I'm always at a loss when I reply to your wonderful reviews of my music. You make an old heart (and body) feel great! I truly cannot explain why this genre comes so naturally for me as I never played it professionally - around the house quite a bit, though. I've always been a h8uge fan of folks like Brook Benton, Dizzy Gillespe, Lou Ralls, Lionel Hampton, Henry Mancini and the old Tommy Dorsey & Glen Miller music.

Somehow, the chords just fall in place. I'm so glad you enjoy my music. And that goes both ways.

Hope all is well with you. Di and I think of you often. Wishing you the very best.

Torrey,

You are always very kind with your comments on my music. Coming from the superbly talented artist and performer you are, that's so gratifying. Thank you so much.

And yes, the sax was the only instrument that "told the story" for this one. I tried trumpet, guitar and trombone - there was no doubt the sax was the right choice. I'm delighted you agree. Wishing you the best,

Alan
