Hi all,
Here's a new collaboration.
This is a minor blues.

When I remember you
There’s nothing I can do
I crawl within my shell
And seek, seek the night
To move beyond the past
Forget what happened last
You’ve gone
You’re leaving me all the blame
You’re gone
And only the scars remain
You’re gone
I am alone
You are gone
You’re gone
I was your pawn
Now you’re gone
When I remember you
There’s nothing I can do
When I think of you
There’s nothing of we two
I claw at the thought
That you saw me as nought
To regain who I am
No sacrificial lamb

Chris,
thanks for the opportunity to collaborate once again.
Despite it being a minor blues this was a challenge: avoiding too many cliche's yet still using some standard blues phrases and phrasing to emphasize the origins.
It was, in the end, a fairly painless process.
I enjoyed it.
Thanks.
Always enjoy listening to blues, especially something a little different.
Nice one guys, enjoyed the listen!
Hi Chris, Ray, Misha.
Wonderful. For just over three minutes I was transported to a smokey Paris bar in the 1950s.
Excellent work here by all those involved.
Cheers, ROG.
Great collaboration guys...
It reminded me of a blues
Cricket would do in that bar in old Martinique...
Very pleasing & nostalgic...
I enjoyed listening!
Nice collaboration - an excellent laid back blues.
Well sung, written and composed by all.
Most enjoyable.
Peter
This song put me in mind of the 40s era, from an old movie soundtrack it would have fit well, and had a nice roll along effect to it.
I loved the style and lyrics.
However as it went along I was enjoying my listen, but looking for the lift somewhere in the song, But it never came.
Just my view I would have loved to hear it lift then back down etc.
Thanks
Nice work Chris37, wowzers! I found this very easy to listen and the chord progression is very nice. Very captivating lyrics. Keep it up!
Dave, Jim, Rog, Peter, Joe.
Thank you for listening and kind comments! My part was very small as Christian already had a melody for it.
Jim, thank you for the "Cricket" link, it was great!
Beatmaster, thank you for honest feedback! Much appreciated! Maybe Christian will allow me to re-do this as an experiment, slightly differently one day. I think I tried to adhere to original melody too much, that is why it is a little bit stiff.
Misha.
Excellent song! You did very well all of you to make a good song. I enjoyed it a lot!

Really interesting nocturnal blues with excellent chord progression, the lyrical landscape is gloomy, I can almost feel heavy rain of that lonely night on my face. Great band, every instrument plays its role perfectly. Great collaboration!
Janne
A very pleasant listen, fellas...
Good BAND. Good mix. Nice vocal. Well mixed.
It has an early-Tom-Waites vibe to it... always a plus...

Thanks to all of you,
It's always exciting to create a new song with talented people.

Hi guys,
another very nice collaboration.Enjoyed the listen a lot.
Stefan
LOVE what ROG said "Wonderful. For just over three minutes I was transported to a smokey Paris bar in the 1950s."
On our third listen. There's a LOT to like here...
The vocal, melody, lyric are so well presented by the pro sounding mix. Great soundstage on the monitors.
If we were walking by a club and heard this we'd step right in and have a seat for more!
Great collab y'all!
J&B

Wow - what a great collaboration! Love how smooth and relaxed it sounds. Super silky, and it flows gorgeously. The vocals are top notch and fit the mood and lyrics perfectly as well.
