A lot of songs begin with a signature drum ditty that cues the band to come in, but sounds more unique than the 4 beat count-in.

Having a whole collection of short drum intros would help me out a lot!

Pat have you tried going into preferences/count-in/met then clicking on lead-in type? If you choose anything but the count in you will get something like what you want. Just be sure that you have your set up exactly like what is in the Picture, with the exception of the lead-in type as that choice is yours. In the picture I have “b” substyle fills as the count in. You can cut out the parts of the drum count ins in your DAW if you don’t want a full measure or two.

Thanks, MarioD as i am just getting into BIAB and was wondering how to create drum type intro this helps.

I am afraid that I have a long, long way to go....

Is it possible that others have additional suggestions and hints to create intros??

Thanks everyone for all the help that this forum gives...
