Yes definitely! with lots of variations.
And while we're on the subject of updates of classic midi styles..80/81 and PATFAST are due the Real drums treatment as are any number of Latin styles.
I'd really like to see some common Jazz Latin grooves without the 'authentic' latin percussion and performed on a jazz drum kit. The CONGMOD style is a case in point. It has the basic groove most favoured in uptempo modern jazz with a latin flavour.

Made a somewhat the same request myself a few months back (I think my 'case in point' was Salsa), so an easy +1 here
