Chet told Jerry: "We already have a Chet Atkins, try to sound like Jerry Reed!" So Jerry came back some time later with enough knock 'em dead material for the three "Jerry And Me" albums and is credited, by Chet himself, for lighting a fire under Chet's career which had started to sag.
