He sure thinks like a drummer even though all you hear throughout the video is "I'm not a drummer".

I didn't hear as many programming insights as I heard sampling suggestions. Enjoyed it just the same.

Wow - I really liked this video, and could relate a lot. The kind of music I create doesn't use live drums, so I program all my drums as well, and this guy clearly thinks similarly to me. Thanks for sharing

The one thing he should have mentioned was the drum skins, bass, snare, and toms, as well as how tight and what tone/tuned they are. Big omissions for sampling IMHO.
