My setup:
88 key digital piano
Bose L1 Compact
Bose T1
TC Helicon Harmony-M
Ketron SD2 Sound Module
Small headphone amp
Laptop
Realband

My process:
I create backing tracks from midi files (MidiHits.com) and render them to a wav. For performance, I use Realband to play the backing track and a midi controller track. The midi track sends data to the TC Helicon for harmony on/off, keys, and voice fx.

My question:
Is it possible to send midi data to the digital piano during the song to automate volume changes? I guess this would be sent to the MIDI receive on the digital piano. If so, how is this done? I know that the TC Helicon receives MIDI data on channel 2. Can I send volume change data to the digital piano on a different channel?

As you can tell, I am still learning, but I am leaps and bounds away from where I was a year ago!

Any instruction would be helpful.

Thanks

CC#7 sent to the midi in of the piano. Make sure the piano receive channel matches the channel that the CC#7 is sending on.Or vice versa

Actually, that's how I was thinking that it would work but it seemed too simple. Thanks.
