Personally I was happy to pay the 14 euros for the Klanghelm version.

Klanghelm VUMT

It has a trim meter built in and user controls so you can adjust inputs on the fly. I use it everywhere to make sure I'm hitting -18db for all my key plugins.

Note these plug-ins are for Mac operating systems.

The first is and I should have said. Klanghelm is cross-platform.
