Again might interest someone like myself who hasn't got this.

I just bought neutron (standard version) a week or so ago, an amazing piece of software!
Dave

Standard version ?.

What's the difference from Elements.

I haven't bought elements yet though I am going too.

Just thought I would check if I would be better going for the standard.

Just a thought.
The one I have is just called Neutron, not standard, sorry for the confusion.

There are three versions: neutron elements, neutron, and neutron advanced.

This explains the differences: https://www.izotope.com/en/products/mix/neutron/features.html

It seems the main difference between what I have and elements is the masking meter, which I haven't actually played with yet.
Thanks Dave

Done a wee search on it and that is what I thought.

So for the price think I will go with elements.
Elements at 29 bucks is another steal.

I am considering it a must have at this point.

Among other things, it will listen to a drum track to see what's wrong with it, then open up the presets to fix it and it is spot on.

Amazing.
I don't know about this one. I, of course WANT it - LOL! But do I need it - I've already got the Nectar 2 production suite and ozone and a long list of other plugins.....decisions-decisions It's like everytime you turn around there's another magic plugin that's gonna take it to the next level - don't mind me I'm just frustrated from this mix I've been working on for what seems like forever and a day...and needed to say that. One thing's for sure it'll go on sale again...
Hey Josie,

As an FYI, it makes Real Drums sound live. At that is just the tip of the iceberg.

I have plugs-ins I paid 150 dollars for that do a lot less.

It is VERY impressive. Not trying to hard to sell you to get it, but just saying I am going to use it on drums and probably acoustic too until Jesus comes back.

smile

The thing that amazes me about this one is that is listens to the track (if you ask it to), analyzes it for instrument type, then pulls up the preset module it thinks will help the most as a starting point and you go tweaking the dials from there.

It's pretty wild.

If anyone is interested in this, it would pay to login into your iZtope account (if you've bought some products over the years).

I just did that and found that I have a "loyalty offer" that allows me to buy both Neutron and Neutron Advanced for $200 less until the end of August.
Just finished using neutron for the first time on my latest song. Man, what a great piece of software!
I agree with David, best bang for the buck of any plugin I've ever bought.
