Anyone on here using Ableton Live to play backingtracks in a band or duo

Welcome to the forum.

I use SONAR as my DAW, as do quite a few here, but someone should come along who uses Ableton Live. That product is well-regarded in the trade press, and it runs on both Mac and PC.

Are you using BIAB? If so, do you have questions about using it with Ableton Live?
