I have a FULL install of BB 2018 and yet I cannot locate the Audio Harmony "Band In A Box Intelligent Mode" in the harmony type..

Anyone know how/where I get this?

Personally, I'd say I've only scratched the surface of BIAB.

I've never used or even heard of what you're asking.

Hi Ben,

There are two ways to get audio harmony in BIAB. There are numbered #2 and #3 on the image below.

The TC Helicon option (#3) is the one that's been in the program for many years. The "Intelligent Mode" that you mention is a more recent addition; it's associated with the audio edit window and is accessed by clicking on #2.

Yes, I chose #2, and "Band-In-A-Box-Intelligent Mode" is what I am missing. In your reply it shows up in the pop-out box as a choice, so that is what I'm looking for. it is not in my program and I'm wondering how to get it.

If nothing happens for choice #2, I suggest trying these in order:

1) Run BIAB As Administrator
2) Return to Factory Settings
3) reinstall BIAB, or call PG Music Support tomorrow

I suspect it's Matt's #1 choice above that might be causing the issue.

If you are not sure how to "Run as administrator", shut down BIAB.... right-click on the start-up short-cut.... select "Run as administrator".

I've always thought that BB was always in intelligent mode..... just saying.

This image shows the Harmony Type I am looking for. For some reason it isn't in my available choices. Any suggestions?

Hi Jarno,

Did you have Chords selected in the "Harmonize based on" field?

As long as it was, Intelligent Mode should be the first item listed in the Harmony Type drop-down menu, before 1: Country Guitar 3 part.

If you don't see it, make sure you've updated to the latest build, 519:
