I dumped 3 sysex file into PT10 to save as back ups fpr my Behringer Midi Pedal FCB1010 and My Boss VF-1 Guitar PreAmp. I dumped, watched the data go in, named the files and then saved them to a file outside PT. Now, when I open the Sysex tool in PT I can't figure out how to find both files. I choose "LOAD" and click on the file but it only loads the file for the VF-1 back up. I cannot get it to find both back up files. I saved them with different names that I gave them by choosing "NAME in the sysex tool. The were on banks 1, 2, and 3. However, I did not change the ports. I saved them all on port 1. Does that matter?
Do I need to save/move these to somewhere inside the PT folder for this to work correctly?

Thanks, and BTW, long time no see to many of you. I moved, started a new business, and recently getting back in to music but mostly as a guitarist for now.

You will probably have to move them to the PT folder or a favorite folder. You will always have to track them down unless you have PT boot into a set folder and have the syx files there.

To find the files try windows search for the *.syx extension - or did that not work for some reason.

Cheers Tobias
