So, this band is called Shobaleader One.

The bass guitar player is none other than electronic music artist Squarepusher.

As it turns out, he's a mean bassist. Ridiculous chops.

I don't get the headgear - if you can't watch, just listen:

And then here's a solo bass concert by the same guy:

Sensational performers, very talented, I could even hear a bit of Spyro Gyra in there somewhere and also Shakatack.

I didn't get the Darth Vader welding masks, they don't need those, they're already way more talented than Darth.

Great find.
Spellbinding.
Umm, I think I get the masks.
Yeah they don't need them, but they play as accurate as robots/programmed stuff.
They're looking the part for the effect.

I enjoyed, especially being live. Also liked the drum tuning for the style.
And keyboards, he used voicings/licks I relate to (or could hear me using).

This is the current 'Bruford/Berlin' of my era, I for one am very glad to hear the genre continuing.
Nice. Very talented.
If you enjoyed this you will probably enjoy a band form Sweden called "Dirty Loops".
Yes these guys are exceptional musicians and their showmanship fits the genre perfectly.
