The real track that you make can be any sound you produce. If using a keyboard, you must record using a mic, so what gets recorded will be whatever sound is coming out of the keyboard, or its amp, or whatever is miked.

Wouldn't it be possible to record audio out from the keyboard directly, instead of having to use a mic?
sure just record track following the chords template and you have a user track

Um...yes, of course. What we cannot do is to record MIDI data coming out of the keyboard.
Where is the template for this? I just got 2014 yesterday and haven't really got into it yet.......Thanks
