All hyped up, after watching the UT Pro Tools video.

Watching Jareth's video couple of questions came up.
Both start/stop items.

Do not know how the wav file is used exactly, hence questions.
At start 2 blank bars, then 3rd start.
1. Is it crucial to have wav start exactly on the 3rd bar?
2. Is it crucial to have wav stop exactly at the end of last bar ?

Thank you

The first two bars of your wav are dummy or space makers in place for the count-in. The third bar is the first bar where your audio material is identified or labeled for use by BIAB or RealBand. The chordsheet of the SGU file of the same name as your waveform is read by BIAB or RealBand to gather timing and chord information.

If your waveform extends beyond the last bar of the usertrack SGU file then BIAB and RealBand have no way of knowing the audio exists. I don't know, but suspect the audio will be abruptly cut off when the last bar of the usertrack SGU is finished.

I like your definition for the third bar.

Thank you!
