I'd love to learn how to make new styles? Is there any info on this anywhere? I can't seem to find anything...

Thanks for your reply, while that is very interesting and definitely worth bearing in mind for using my guitar to create my own sound of backing track...

I was hoping to be able to create a couple of new styles, not user tracks. There are loads of genres in band in a box and the software is great the only thing I think is missing is "Drum and Bass" styles and I'd love to either purchase or make them myself it that's at all possible?

You may be happy to know you can change the BASS and/or DRUMS within any style very simply. When you are in an all RealTracks style and you don't like the bass that is being used,

1)right click BASS track in the mixer,

2)go to "select best RealTracks"

3)Choose a new BASS sound. You can audition the sound before you select it.

4)to save this BASS as a new STYLE. Go to File> Stylemaker> save current song(except muted inst) as a style. Name your style, write a description, save, and you have a new custom style. I use my initials in the front of the custom styles I create so I can find them easier in the future.

You can change 1 or all of the RealTradks in any style and create your own custom style.

You can also change the drums this way, except you have to select a real drum in the 2) step above.
