Hi I am very new at this but see great potential.

Trying to do a bass and drum backing track to "I'm beginning to See the Light" by Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker.

Carson Smith plays a two bar phrase four times as an intro to the piece. I have a Roland electric piano with a couple of output connections. I think I can play the bass solo and attach my laptop to the piano.

Within Band in the Box where do I go to record the bass solo. Secondly how do I get this bass part installed into my backing track?

I am very new to this so please forgive me if I am using the wrong terminology.
