Are there any simple percussion styles out there that would have, say, 4/4 and 3/4 (or just either) simple things like shakers, wood blocks, or sand blocks ... things like that? I do some pretty simple acoustic stuff that I'm really not looking for drums on.

I'm very new to this product. I bought Pro and added the MegaPak. I'm just not finding some of the options I need for some of my tracks.
You can create up your own RealDrums or UserTrack Percussion using these vst percussion instruments. http://www.realband.org/tutorial-utd.html

You can use loops or just create them up in the Piano Roll Editor with copy & paste or use the metronome in RealBand to create the track or edit a midi drum track by removing the hits you don't need and moving the other hits up or down to the correct hit.

Here's some SF2 that you can drag into Sforzando

Hi Phil, and welcome to the forums.

There are tons of amazing percussion tracks you can find under the Realdrums picker dialogue.

You have woodblocks under set 290 and you have 9 different shaker tracks as shown in the screenshot below.

Very cool, and thank you.

I, too, upgraded to the mega pack in less than a week.
Hi Phil,

You might want to check out the loop library we include with Band-in-a-Box. If you hit the Loops button and type "percussion" into the Filter String box, there are quite a few that should be usable.

Cheers

Thanks Pipeline. I'll check them out.
Have you tried EZdrummer? Someone on the forum mentioned it and it has a great selection of percussion instruments.
If you can't find what you need in BiaB, you might try picking up some loops like Essential Acoustic Percussion.
