New Realstyles Request - Modern/Alt/Indie Rock - 06/06/08 09:43 PM
Hi PG,
I am having a real blast with the realtracks and realstyles in 2008.5 and I am already looking forward to the next set of styles with real instruments.
It is so brilliant to hear such great acoustic and electric guitar sounds coming out of BIAB.
If I can put in a request for some new styles it would be in the modern rock genre. There are a couple of recent sample loop libraries from big fish audio which sound great, and I think that something that has the vibe of these loop libraries together with the complete control that BIAB realtracks brings to the party would sound awesome.
The libraries that I have in mind are:
Rock Star (http://www.bigfishaudio.com/4dcgi/detail.html?1298) and
Punk & Indie Rock: Slammin Sounds of So-Cal (http://www.bigfishaudio.com/4dcgi/detail.html?1288)
There are demos of both libraries on-line
Also I have tried to use the sax soloist realtracks in some slow rock ballad songs at 65bpm. The soloists are designed to play at much higher BPMs and, predictably the sound quality degraded down to an unacceptable level, but the actual sax phrases being generated sounded really good. Some slower Sax Soloists would therefore also be much appreciated.
