Tranzport works really well with BIAB, but could we rather change the PLAY function or the foot switch to be the equivalent of the conductor's CTL > num2. This will loop the middle choruses and end the song with the Tranzport's next section/ chorus function (num1). This way we may play additional choruses or shorten song, great for gigs !!

The foot switch should be user programmable, but presently under BIAB it has no function. Would be nice if we could employ it somehow.

May I suggest a Function Map available under Tranzport Prefs and allow BIAB Users to text edit the functions or have a choice of functions available for each button.

By the way these options are available with other DAW's, why not with BIAB?

I don't have a Tranzport, but reading your post it looks like it's ruled out for me.
CTRL-numpad2 and numpad1 are the two keystrokes I use most often.

For me it might be more beneficial to just have a generic way to remap shortcut keys to custom ones. The ones provided seem to be shoehorned in over time and don't always follow function or layout .

Essentially abandon the provided shortcut keys provided, and use my own. A nice simple mapping file would do it.

Same for custom midi mapping.

I am hoping that PG will take note of our comments and that they are limiting the potential sales of the Tranzport controller by not making it more versatile for BIAB users.
