When I'm auditioning Real tracks in a song I right click on each track and then in the drop menu choose "select Real Tracks". This in turn opens up the Real Tracks list. I typically use the filter and choose by instrument. So if I looking for a piano and right click piano and see the list of Real Tracks, what is listed is a list from the previous time I chose a Real Track. So, it may be showing guitars, and I have to change the filter to piano to search for piano. If I then go to the guitar track and want to choose a different guitar Real track, the list will open to the previous list of pianos. If possible it would be helpful if the Real Tracks list could open to the instrument you are looking to choose. When you click on a piano track the list would opens to all the Real Track pianos. If you click on guitars it would open all the Real Track guitars, etc.

It makes sense but if this is done, it needs to be an option. I regularly plug instruments into tracks other than the ‘standard’ ones.

The idea has merit, but I agree that there should be a way to enable/disable such a feature.

Makes sense. However I can't support the suggestion for the same reason given by Matt, I use many "non-standard" instruments as do many styles.

It make sense to me as an option.. SO +1 from me..
I think it also would be natural that the real track window open only EV tracks for EV songs, and only SW tracks for SW songs, as an option also...
