Greetings... how all is well for y'all...
I have just finished installing my 2024 UltraPak upgrade. So far I love it. What a difference compared to my 2022 version. No more waiting around for it to generate and re-generate after changing one or two chords or a part marker. All this new found time means more time with the wife laugh

However, I have come across a problem. Whenever I bring my song into my DAW, everything comes in as it should - except the drums. The first 7 bars are there and then that's it. Nothing.

I'm aware of that tiny speck on the right hand corner of the plugin that I've checked for "count-in" and "ending." I've tried to bring in other songs that I previously done in my 2022 version which were all working fine, and I'm getting the same - drums disappear at the 7th bar. I've also done a new song from scratch with the same results. I'm really scratching my head over this one. I've never seen it before so I really don't know where to look for a remedy.

Any help, as usual, would be so much appreciated!!!

Bobby, I'm not sure that I can help, but could you detail the steps you take to bring the song into your DAW?
Do you drag the Master radio button to the drop-zone, and then drag it from the drop-zone to your DAW? Or by some other means?
Knowing that might help to track down the cause of the issue.

Sorry for not getting back to the thread sooner but something came up in the real world that has kept me away from my computer squawk box.

I'm using Studio One Pro in Windows. I'm using the plugin the same way as I always have. When I pull in a biab song I select the PG Music plugin (instrument) from my list of instruments and drag and drop it into the track in the daw. I then open the song file in the plugin and then generate it. Everything goes well. I drag "all" into the daw. Once there, all the instruments are there on their own tracks as they should be, including the drums except the drums only play until the 7th bar in the daw and then nothing. Flat line. Strange that it is only the drum tracks are affected. I've tried existing songs and new songs and get the same results either way. I've dragged just the drum track into Studio One - same result. I've tried doing the same thing in Reaper. When I bring the plugin in, all the tracks are either blank or it crashes.

The plugin shows that it is the 2023 version even though I upgraded to the 2024 version. When I start up biab, the splash screen shows that it is version 2024 opening up. Everything works the way it should as I'm building my song in biab. I save and shut down and all is fine. The problem starts with the plugin. I had no problem with anything before I upgraded.

I was chatting with PG for over 2 hours last Friday night - a really big shout out to Simon for spending all that time with me working on a resolve. We tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the main program to C:/ bb to no avail. (all the real tracks are installed on a separate SSD internal drive) He is off for the weekend and said that if it isn't fixed before Monday he would get back to me to continue working on the problem. Just goes to show how good PG's customer service is.

I am also using Studio One Pro 6.5. My BIAB plugin says it is 2024 version 6.0.7. If I remember right when I first got the 2024 version of BIAB the plugin did say it was 2023.
When I create a new song in the plugin and render it and drag it into S1 the drums and all tracks are there to the end of the song. I am not seeing what you are seeing. Am I missing any of your steps?

Just to let you know that I haven't given up on this question. It's just that I've been very busy with the Christmas thing going on. I'm thinking that I'll get an hour or so today to play around with and see what I come up with. I'll be giving you updates.

Thanks for the comeback... very much appreciated!

Good day one and all... hope you're having a good one.

I'm so sorry for not posting a followup to this problem I was having. I managed to get it resolved.

I was poking around the PG site, particularly in the plugin section, and found a link for the plugin called "patch." I clicked and installed it and my problem was solved. I now have the 2024 version of the plugin. It also cleared up the drum issue - they are now coming into Studio One completely, right to the end of the song.

This issue really left me bewildered because I didn't see anyone else post about it here on the forum. It seems that not even Simon was aware about this patch. This leaves me to believe that this issue is extremely rare.

Oh well... the main thing is that I'm up and running with the new version!!!
