Maybe I am over thinking this but I cant seem to find the answer in the manual.Although,I am sure its there.

Lets say I like a Smooth Jazz style and have loaded up one of the demo's, but this "style-picker" does not have a keyboard arrangement as part of its style. What would i do to add a keyboard for some fill( not a solo)..lets say 8 bars at bar 25?

Is this where the sub-style a and b come into play, or better yet multi-styles as we can have 24?

I am still trying to understand part markers and the programing of the individual letters.

And maybe I have this whole thing wrong and its done differently. grin
I usually add extra instruments after opening the BIAB file in Realband. Unless there's a specific reason you want to stay in BIAB this is the easiest method for the most options in arranging your song.

In BIAB, try F5 at the bar where you want to make changes.

Answer:

Select bar 25
F5

Near the top of the window, select the RealTrack button.

Select the track you want to change the instrument

Open the drop down menu of "change Realtracks to..."

Select the instrument you want to use

move forward in the chord chart 8 measures

Repeat the above to revert to either another instrument or the original instrument.
