Noob to the forum and BIAB - 01/10/17 04:54 AM
Howdy peeps.
Just a brief introduction. My name is Chris and I live in South Africa.
I am a guitarist but have to supplement my income with a 9 to 5 job.
I discovered BIAB in 2015 after looking for an alternative to midis and home comped backing tracks. I pulled the trigger on the 2016 version in October last year. Since then I have invested more cash into some of the expansion style and realband packs
I use BIAB primarily as a learning tool and generating backing tracks for personal guitar and vocal training. (Best software ever!) Combined with Reaper an excellent backing resource.
I have a small room converted to a studio and run BIAB both on a desktop and laptop. The laptop for recording and the desktop for mixing recorded stuff.
I currently play in a band called the Velskoen Kommissie (Directly translated as the Leather shoe Commission) Focusing mainly on blues, country, folk, light rock and local song covers.
Thank you for a well maintained forum and user friendly web site. I will be back soon
