I've just purchased BIAB 2018 and easily set up some very nice band backings of chord progressions in 4/4 time. BIAB 2018 states that it now can handle 6/8, but when I referenced this it still seems to cite workarounds that don't produce good results.

Is there something I'm missing or am I out of luck? Thanks!

Firstly, Welcome.

I'm not sure how you referenced the 6/8 values.

You select a style with 6/8 timing from the StylePicker

Thanks v much, I appreciate the help. I only got three tracks when I looked for 6/8 backing; none were that great (very MIDI sounding). Maybe it depends on the version I have, but I was hoping there might be a Real Tracks version.

It sounds like the version of BIAB that you purchased did not have the full complement of styles. This would be the case if you bought the ProPak or the MegaPak. The UltraPak is the first of the packages that contains all currently available styles.

The pdf list below shows my collection of 6/8 time signature styles.

• Under the "Type" column:
  R = Realtrack
  M = MIDI (only)
  RM = (some) Realtracks (and some) MIDI

The 6/8 is still handled within the 3/4 and 4/4 structure.
