the timeline is stopped when i play the song. The marker bar does not move. The song plays but I do not see the bars marker changing bars.

Wild guess: I remember seeing this a dozen years ago. The problem at that time had to do with graphics drivers out of date. Are yours up-to-date?

Might be worth a try at Return to Factory Settings?

solved with biab reinstallation
