Hi, thought I better post this here....the answer is probably easily fixed.
When I use the 3... hold during or end of a song the bar seems to be very exaggerated. Is there anywhere I can calm this beat down...apart from using a DAW.

You may be able to use Bar Settings (Function key <F5>) on the required bar to lower the volume of one or more tracks.

It's also possible to quieten the shots and holds in the Realtracks settings.

1. Go to "Options | Preferences"

2. Select "Realtracks" (#1 on image)

3. Down the bottom of the right column of settings you'll find "Adj Shot Velocity" (#2).
0 = normal, -value = quieter, +value = louder.

I'd try -3 or -6 dB

Even though this setting is labelled for shots, it also applies to holds.

I think you will find that this does not always work. In extreme cases, I edit the volume of the stem if I can find the file.

The BIAB Audio Editor has 4 different tools to choose from that any of them can tame those 3 dot holds. Should take less than a minute...

Volume Automation
Regeneration
