Brandy is one of those sappy songs that I just really love, for no known reason.

Me too.

I really like the images that happen inside my mind when I listen to the lyrics. They're a fine example of third-person storytelling in the format of verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, ½-verse, chorus. The song also has a really catchy melody set against an excellent arrangement.

Musically and Lyrically an excellent song, and well deserving of the accolades it continues to achieve.

The interview with Elliot was the icing on the cake.

That's my take, too. I often sing it at karaoke (yeah, I do that sometimes!)

How strange, I've never heard this song before. I think it will grow on me.
