I've not noticed this error before. On start up, displays error dialog "ptw", "Out of memory while expanding memory stream at: 045DEF3D." The keyboard window disappears, but will still play MIDI. Windows XP, 2GB of RAM, happens even after a clean reboot with no other programs running. I want the keyboard window!

May or may not be related. I discovered an issue way back and it was confirmed by PG as being a problem. It has yet to be fixed to my knowledge. If you are using one of the software synths each time a song is loaded it loads the sample set into memory. The problem when you load the next song. The program should release all the memory from the previous song. It doesn't so these samples keep getting piled on top of each other until you run out of memory.This happens very quickly if using the Forte player as the samples are huge. Reboot the computer to release resources and see what happens.

Thanks for the idea, but I changed the MIDI output driver to SB Audiology hardware Synth, and rebooted. Same problem.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
