Glad to hear she will be at home.
If possible have Hospice called in. Just tell the nurse at the hospital to arrange it.

John,
Heartfelt prayers and sympathy from me for you both and I'm sure from all of us in your extended Forum family. One's passing is only a bridge and then the song of life continues. Your love for her will ease the way.

My heart is heavy for you, and your dear wife. No one should have to go through what you both are. Sadly we all have to face this, at some point in our lives, in one way or another.
I do not know what your personal beliefs are, but i will share a couple of mine, as it is the only way i know to give comfort. I look forward to the day when none will face death. a comforting scripture i always enjoyed is at Psalm 37:10-11 It says,
"And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
And verse 29 "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it."
Also in Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
I hope that your final hours together are peaceful, and that you are able to share love and hope for the future. Although at times like this it is hard, try to remember the wonderful times, and the life spent together. reflect on past joys, rather than the present pain.
I also have a very strong belief that the Bibles hope for the resurection is sure. John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice.."
Until then, please let these hopes and promises bring you comfort. I will close with this last thought, It is one of my favorites, and one I have shared with many before.
(Psalm 34:18-19) "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; And those who are crushed in spirit he saves. Many are the calamities of the righteous one, But out of them all Jehovah delivers him."
Warmest Regards, Rob

John,
I grieve for you both. I am sorry.
Do you have family or hospice or anyone else to help see you through this?

Done deal. Started immediately when I read your message. Prayers out to both of you.
I am using the new 1040XTRAEZ form this year. It has just 2 lines.
1. How much did you make in 2023? 2. Send it to us.

Well, I understand your sadness and my prayers go out to you and your family. I know you lean on music to get you thru most everything. Thought these two by Al Green would help the thoughts I have about your sadness... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lus8OTnLo7w&feature=relatedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzitOsxKJNY&feature=relatedAnd of course this is so true... "A House is not a Home" by Luther VanDross https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8_ExFWcny0&feature=relatedMy Musician by Prisana Luke Created on: October 03, 2007 Music was not my first love, But it became a love because of my musician. My musician played every beat, every note, every string, every song Of my heart. I fell into his keys as he played intensely for the while, And I stared at his neck moving with the rhythm, I fell deep and deeper into the trance of love. As I fell my path became visions of notes, Jazz, new age, rhythm and blues, And I stood trying to leave the room. Yet, by my musician's tunes, I was grabbed by my waist And graced into a dance of love and embrace. Oh! My musician played! He turned and smiled the side smile of victory, He knew his music overcame me, And he continued to play intimately on the keys of my heart with his song. He appeared relaxed as the music filled the air, My heart became the base tone of the rhythm my musician designed for me. He continued for me. Through his music he loved me, Through his music he touched me, Through his music he made me, He made me love again, Yes, my musician did.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
