J'utilise Windows 7 (64) & Band in a Box 2012 (ultra pak).
BiaB ne reconnaît pas AmpliTube3. (je suis enregistrée chez IK Multimedia & j'ai entré le code ).
j'ouvre la fenêtre VSTplugin et j'ai essayé amplitube3.dll. IMPOSSIBLE
Je peux par contre ouvrir AmpliTube en dehors de BiaB.
Que dois-je faire?

Bonjour Julia...
J'utilise aussi Windows 7 et BiaB 2012.
Tout marche très bien chez moi...
Il y a lieu de vérifier les point suivants pour utiliser Amplitube en "plug-in".
Comme tu dois le savoir, BiaB utilise à la fois des fichiers Midi (les jaunes) ou des
fichiers Audio (les verts, Real Tracks..).
Ainsi que tu as du l'apprendre, les fichiers midi ne produisent pas de son, mais utilisent simplement des instructions (joue telle note, puis telle note etc...). Il faut donc utiliser un module externe (type Ketron) comme je l'utilise moi-même, ou bien un logiciel VST (comme Coyote Forte ou Roland, livré avec BiaB).
En ce qui concerne les fichiers Audio (beaucoup plus "lourds" que les fichiers midi), le son "est déja là" dans le fichier. Un VSTi comme Amplitube modifie simplement le son original du fichier de départ.
Voila pour les principes, j'espère que j'ai "bien expliqué".
Maintenant, la pratique:
- Tu ouvres un fichier .mgu avec des instruments midi et Real tracks.
- Tu choisis un RT (une guitare par ex.)en cliquant dessus,
- Tu ouvres le Mixer (non, pas celui de la cuisine...)
- Dans le mixer, tu vas sous l'onglet "Plug ins"
- Tu cliques sur le premier slot, ce qui ouvre "VST/DX Synths"
- Tu vas dans le premier slot et cliques Add VSTi
- Tu vas chercher le amplitude3.dll, que tu connais, dans le dossier oú tu l'as placé et cela doit marcher.
Attention, et c'est la le point important, cela ne peut marcher (dans le premier slot)QUE si tu as choisi un instrument Audio (Real Track).
Si tu as choisi un instrument midi, BiaB "n'acceptera" pas de prendre l'amplitube,
car le progrqamme veut un VST (Coyotte, TSS1 etc...)pour produire des sons.
Toutefois, et c'est ce qui m'a occupé ces derniers jours, il est possible d'utiliser
Amplitube AUSSI pour des instruments midi (c'est moins bien, comme son, que avec les fichiers audio, mais ca marche...) Il suffit d'ouvrir un VST dans le premier slot (Coyote ) et d'ajouter le VSTi Amplitube (suivant la procédure décrite + haut), dans le deuxieme slot... Il s'agit alors d'un "effet" qui s'ajoute au VST "producteur de son".
J'espère que ca va marcher... C'est toujours difficile de décrire un processus qu'on a assimilé, mais que le lecteur ne suit peut être pas...
** J'écris avec un clavier "Allemand" ce qui explique que il n'y a pas de cédilles dans mes textes. Tu complèteras...

Merci Bernard pour toutes ces explications, avec en plus un brin d'humour, c'est sympa !
Essayé "Add plugin VSTI" comme tu le décris, mais sans succès. Biab n'accepte pas le fichier .dll
J'ai donc supprimé et réinstallé Amplitube VST32bits seulement, puis Add plugin...
Et voilà ça fonctionne !!!

PS : tu dis utiliser le module externe Ketron. Dans cette configuration, faut-il tout transformer en MIDI (fichiers audio, real tracks)? Je pensais en effet effectuer cet achat.

Ah ben non, ce serait pas drôle s'il fallait transformer les RT en midi !
Le Ketron permet d'améliorer les sons midi ; il propose de nombreux sons (3 banques...) dont beaucoup sont réellement très bons par rapport aux sons midis de base. Mais les realtracks restent ce qu'ils sont, Dieu merci...
Je l'ai acheté il y a 2 mois, il m'a fallu à peine 1 mois pour le mettre en place (je ne suis pas le 1er de la classe en informatique musicale) mais aujourd'hui je ne regrette pas.

J'avais oublié deux points, ne sachant pas quel était ton "set-up" (VSTi interne type coyote ou Midi externe type Ketron...)
1) Tout le systeme décrit dans mon mail ne fonctionne (dans la partie midi) que si l'on "roule" en VSTi, c'est à dire, dans mon cas, si l'on a remplacé le Ketron par un Coyote ou TSS1 (Cakewalk), par exemple), donc un synth interne (un logiciel). Pour cela, il suffit d'aller sous le menu Opt/Midi/Audio driver et de cocher la case "use VST/Dxi settings" (ma version est en anglais) et de définir le synth qu'on veut (il faut évidemment l'avoir sur l'ordi).
2) Il est, par ailleurs bien précisé, dans le mode d'emploi, que BiaB n'accepte, en ce qui concerne les .dll que des 32bits (alors que mon système, par exemple tourne en 64bits). On a évidemment la tentation d'utiliser le .dll pour 64 bits lorsque le programme offre les deux possibilités. En regardant ma propre configuration, hier, j'avais l'impression que Amplitube ne proposait qu'un seul .dll et c'est pour cela que je n'en avais pas parlé.
Maintenant, en ce qui concerne le Kétron, je ne peux que confirmer le mail précédent de Carolan. Il faut faire le chèque (!) mais c'est vraimment au dessus de tous les synths logiciels que je connais (Je ne les connais pas tous, évidemment, on dit le plus grand bien des produits Garitan... mais ils coutent aussi la peau des f....s).
J'utilise le Ketron depuis 3 ans environ.. Cela permet de faire des choses symphas en restant sur du midi ou en mélangeant midi et Real Tracks dans un morceau.
Un dernier mot, si tu as acheté Amplitube, tu dois avoir accés, sur la page Internet de IK Media au VSTi Sample Tank, qui te permet d'avoir des "instruments suplémentaires" pour les pistes midi...
