With all the modern technology out there these days and all they give you is a 5 minute warning? Jeesh! Prayers, you got em.

I'm probably on of many of you, but was switching
between two channels Weather channel and another
and the coverage and recent new technology is
amazing.

The semi trailers floating, being sucked up into the
tornado clouds was really scary and eerie similar to
movie. Was upsetting just to watch it.

Our thoughts are with you Tommy now and thru-out this
upcoming season.

Tommy, just came on. Probably passed you by now(an hour later). If it's any comfort, I've survived dozens since I've been in Oklahoma. The aides just roll me, bed and all, to a central hallway. I'm in a cinderblock building so minimum damage potential. We are now on toronto watch but the news people are tracking it and we get about an hour warning. Appears to be East of us and moving NE at about 30 MPH. Now, later tonight it could get ugly. They move us away from any windows. My problem is...my air mattress collapse without power then entraps me like mummy in a cocoon.

Anyway, my thoughts are with you. The safest place is laying in your bathtub with something like a sleeping bag or thick blankets to protect from flying glass shards.

Glad you're OK.
Wow! That was close.

I've never been through a tornado. Just earth quakes here in LB.

I haven't been that close since I was 6 when the house next door went away and only the foundation was left. We had a storm shelter and it flooded with water, luckily the neighbors were out of town.

Glad your OK Tommy. I was in one a year or so ago and in my 32' camper at that. Picked me and camper up about 8 feet and dropped me. Other than a few bruises and a change of underwear needed I was OK. But never, never, never will I chance that again. As there were some campers destroyed and many flipped all around me . . . I was truly blessed that night.

Stay Safe,

Yes glad to hear you are alright Tommy. I was watching it all on the news yesterday and it was just amazing to see them 18 wheels flying in the air like toys being thrown around. I live next door to you in Arkansas and have been down in my storm cellar many times with the tornado sirens going off.

Tommy, I'll bet you aged a year or two!

How'd your neighbourhood survive? Pretty frightening to watch on the news - glad you made it.

It tore up some trees and power lines and I heard sirens everywhere. Someone on our street had a heart attack from all the excitement, but no one died.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
