Say I want a real track bass track for part A and then the same
real track with the bass at double time on part B.
What's the fastest way to switch/change realtracks for the AB parts?

Don't worry about being locked into a style. The styles are just there for convenience to get you started. Hit F5 and check out the Bar Settings window. You can put any style, any Real Track, any instrument midi patch change, tempo, all that stuff on any bar you want anywhere in the song. During testing last year one person put something like 20 different Real Tracks throughout her song using the Bar Settings.

Yes, I'm familiar with the Bar settings windows
but I was looking for an even faster way.
I like the styles with ABCD sections.

It sounds like you know this already but using the substyle part markers changes all the instruments to that substyle so if you want the bass only to change you'll have to use F5.

Using Bar settings still does not do what I want to do.
Bar settings only allows to change the real track.
It doesn't give the option to change the timing of the real track.
The way that I finally did what I wanted to do is I add the 2nd bass track to the Melody
track and set in Bar settings for the Melody to be muted on part A and then for the bass part to be muted on part B.
It may have easier to use Realband.

Look at multistyles. They have ABCD... sections. Each pair (a/b, c/d) can have it's own instrument definitions. BIAB provides some Multistyles and can be found in the StylePicker. One of those may do what you want. If not, the Stylemaker can be used to create and customize your own Multistyles.
Get back to us if you want to dive more into the Stylemaker. I have a number of 'custom' styles that do exactly what you are asking. It is an easy thing to do.

There are some certain Styles that feature Double Time Bass in the B section, but they may not be the genre needed here.
AFAIC, any solve to a problem like this one that sounds good, IS good.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
