I'm not sure what this file is, but I think that it might be lyrics to a song. I tried to just double click and MS came up with some suggested pgms. I downloaded one and it took over my computer and was scanning and updating all drivers. I had to shut off the power and restore from my mirror backup. Is there some simple file that will let me open a .wbh file? Thanks.

Probably not much help but...
I don't have WBH file types on my machine and I've never heard of it. Usually wherever you got it from will have instructions on how to open. Sounds like some pretty ugly stuff happened when you opened it. What program did Microsoft recommend to use to open?
The fact that it took over your computer would scare me. Make sure to check for viruses, trojans, etc. They can be pretty devious these days.

I don't think this was a trojan or backdoor program. It was suggested by MS and was called paralogic. It was supposed to install whatever is needed to cover file extensiohs that were not part of the original XP. I didn't know that it was going to work on all of my drivers as well. Since everything was working fine, I tried to stop it and uninstall both from its pgm group and control panel. It just locked everything up and I had to go in with the Acronis disk and restore from a backup drive. I might have gotten this file from a biab file that I got from someone else. Anyway all is well now and I'll just delete any .wbh files that I see. I am running Trend Internet Security anti-virus and Spy Sweeper daily. I guess we can't be too careful these days.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
