Hey Ya’ll,

Here’s a song I wrote back in 2010. Some of you might remember it. All real tracks. Recorded in RB and remixed in Tracktion. I also sprinkled in some piano from the one of great new country piano tracks we didn't have then. This is mid uptempo alternative neo traditional country. The vocal was sung with a specific artist of that genre in mind. Fun song. Let me know if there's any glaring issues with the mix.

Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for listening.

I'm Moving On

Hi Josie,

I remember this song from a little while back. It's a real credit to you as a songwriter. I've got to say that I don't remember is sounding so excellent, though. To my ears, this arrangement and mix is demo quality all the way. Brilliant.

All the best,
Noel

Great country production. The guitar is perfect. Sounds like early Loretta... or Jeannie C Riley.

I’m with OCC on this one! Great vocals and lyrics set to the perfect backing tracks.

The only thing I found wrong with this is that I had to hear it here and not on a country radio station, GAC or CMT!

Really great production. Full sound. Great country lyrics and vocals. Nice ironic chorus and hook line. The melody is sweet too.

Top notch song.

And standing O for BIAB!

Yo Josie,

I really liked it in 2010 but now I love it!

The tweaks you made really polished it off my friend.

Hi Josie,

A real good country song! I remember when you posted it a couple years ago. Good rework! I always enjoy your writing and productions.

What a good song Josie, lots of interesting twists and turns which had me hooked. It perfectly showcases your versatile voice. A very enjoyable listen indeed.

I'm going to drop in a teeny thing that came to mind whilst listening, then I'll put on my steel helmet and head for the hills.
I'd love to hear a smidgeon of reverb on your vocal.
(Cue noise of Roadrunner whizzing toward the horizon...)

Thank each of you for listening. Your feedback means a lot to me.

BTW, John, I agree a bit more reverb certainly wouldn't hurt....meep..meep.... LOL!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
