Posted a song a few weeks back and have just finished a video for it. Used BiaB for all the backing tracks. Hope you'll give it look If you get a chance. Feedback welcome. Thanks a lot.

Great job on the video, Charlie (and the song). That's got to be a lot of time spent - but it looks like you had fun doing it.. floyd

floyd jane, thanks a lot for watching. Glad you liked it. Not really a lot of time spent but it was fun doing it. After getting started that is, that's the hardest part.

Noel, thanks so much. Glad you liked it.

boehm, thank you for watching and you comments. Yes, enjoyed doing. I usually enjoy the editing part more than the actual recording.

Achordocaster, thanks a lot. Glad you liked it.

Charlie,

you have a real knack for what you do... not only are your songs very cleverly conceived, you also manage to inject your humor and enthusiasm into the songs. IMO, that's missing from about 50% of the songs typically heard on a site like this. You present your ideas not only as songs, but as audio-visual productions, and that makes a huge difference to me.

50 years ago there probably couldn't have been a SparkPlug Johnny... but today with the various rapid-development systems for making music and videos a person of your creativity can take his own ideas to the world, bypassing the whole teams of production people and money skimmers that would have leeched onto your creativity in the past.

I hope your efforts get the attention of enough people that you make some money. The quality of your work is certainly as good or better than what I hear from people who ARE making money.

Others here are adding video to their songs, and I think you may have gotten that ball rolling.

Good job, all around! I wish you much success! You deserve it!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
